Curing Info & Tips:

Curing info

Always follow the baking temperature and time printed on your clay packet – different brands and ranges have slightly different requirements.

Never bake hotter than recommended.

Use a household oven (not a microwave) and place your pieces on a tile or baking tray. Tent with foil or baking paper to help prevent scorching. Allow your creations to cool completely before testing strength or adding varnish and findings.

Safety & Colour Info:

Safety & colour info

Polymer clay is safe and non-toxic when used as directed by the manufacturer. Always wash your hands after use and avoid using the same tools and equipment for both food and clay.

Bake pieces in a well-ventilated area and avoid burning the clay – if it overheats, it may release an unpleasant smell. Discard any burnt pieces.

Please note that colours can vary from screen to screen and may not be an exact match to the clay in real life. Small colour differences between batches are also normal with polymer clay.

Tip for Best Results:

Tips for best results

• Condition your clay thoroughly by warming, rolling and folding it until smooth and pliable.

• Use sharp blades and cutters for clean edges, and sand or buff after baking if desired.

• For translucent and special-effect clays, experiment with thinner pieces, layering and inclusions (glitter, mica powders, foils) to make the most of the effect.

• Store unused clay wrapped and away from heat and direct sunlight to keep it fresh.
